History

AmbaFlex came into existence in 1996 as a result of a management buy-out. However, its experience dates back to the mid eighties when the development of Specialty Conveyors began with the first powered belt curves.

The original AmbaVeyors were installed subsequently in 1989, quickly followed in 1992 by the special model, the SpiralVeyor®. Following the radial roller patent in 1997, the SpiralVeyor® broke through as a viable solution to increasingly demanding situations. In recent years, SpiralVeyor® sales have increased forty-fold and AmbaFlex has reached virtually every market with new models thanks to new developments.

AmbaFlex enhanced its range of high-end specialty conveyors by adding new range of Accumulators to its program in 2002.
