The AccuVeyor® AVZ is a true Zone Accumulator. When the downstream process comes to a stop the AccuVeyor® AVZ can, besides the normal conveying mode, be used to accumulate products. In order to achieve this, the machine is divided into 4-6 segments per turn. Each segment can store one item and can be activated and deactivated individually.

System build-up

The spiral is segmented in 4 or 6 zones per turn. Each zone can be activated individually.

The AVZ comprises a central belt that runs continuously. A lift-up frame is mounted beside this belt frame, which extends along the entire zone length on both sides. When the lift-up is in a low position, the items are conveyed on the belt. If raised, it is held in the zone.

The activation is optic-pneumatic with integrated accumulation logic. The accumulator can be fully fitted with zones or only a few zones, if that suits the application. Accumulation segments can be retro-fitted at a later date.
