Regional Sales Manager US

Based in the US

 

As the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) you fulfil a combined role. You manage the assigned Area Sales Managers team that operates as the external interface between AmbaFlex’ Head Office and the Region. Your daily activities are focussed in such a way that the personal and team objectives are being met. You develop your team according the AmbaFlex Sales Strategy and you are the key external interface for all commercial activities between AmbaFlex’ Head Office and the assigned customers, prospects and business partners.

In the execution of these activities you always will ensure that AmbaFlex is seen as a reliable & professional business partner.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

You are responsible for managing, coaching and supporting your Area Sales Mangers. Together with them it is your task to establish growth in marketshare and profit in your region. You will set up the Area Sales Plan and wright Accountplans for your Key Accounts. This means that you manage all the strategic sales activities, manage your customers and generate New Business by acquisition, accountmanagement and marketingactivities. You plan and organise activities (travel, visits, meetings) required to achieve your personal & team objectives. Futhermore you are responsible for analysing and responding to trends and developments in the market and initiate productdevelopment. As Regional Sales manager you have to be able to manage and optimise your market and products and processes, but also your colleagues by coaching and training. You are a professional Business Partner for all the stakeholders in your region and will have to forcast, evaluate and report to the General Manager Sales.

– Strong drive to achieve results and a good negotiator
– A pro-active communicator and problem solver
– Able to work ‘alone’ from home office and regular travelling internationally
– Strong communicator on management level
– A team manager & coach to secure team results, short and long term
– Business development & selling skills to find new and develop existing business
– Strategic Account Management skills
– Presentation & Demonstration skills
– Selling skills, Strategic Account Management, Telephone Acquisition

Required Training & Knowledge:

– Mission, Vision & Global Sales Strategy & Plan
– Products & Markets (PMC’s, Print Finishing, Logistics, Botteling and canning, Packaging)
– Experience in Sales of Capital Goods
– Processes & Guidelines
– Systems & tools (CRM, SWC/Budget Calculation tool, Personal Sales Plan)
